Dr. Robert Kim is a board-certified general dentist and has been with The Dentist of Allen since 1993. Dr. Kim earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at Austin. He continued his education, receiving a doctorate in dental surgery from the UT Health Science Center at San Antonio in 1992. Upon graduation, Dr. Kim relocated to Allen, where he joined the practice of Dr. David Bishop.
When not in the office, Robert enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, who keep the family busy with sports and school activities. Dr. Kim feels blessed to be able to raise children and practice dentistry in Allen and is passionate about providing people with the best care possible.
I was searching for a new dental office when I came across The Dentist of Allen - best choice I ever made! Dr. Kim was knowledgeable and answered all of my questions regarding my concerns and x-rays. Laura, my hygienist, was wonderful! Attentive and thorough - she provided an excellent deep cleaning while being gentle around my sensitive teeth. I’ll be requesting her for all my future appointments!
Great Care! - I always receive great care and excellent service. My teeth cleanings leave my teeth very clean. The doctors, especially Dr Kim, and staff are very caring people. I love my dental hygienist, Laura, who always does a great job!

Dr. Bishop and his staff are fantastic. I have been to many dentists over my lifetime and the dentistofAllen is by far the best ever. Everyone treats me with the utmost care and concern. Dr. Bishop, Dr. Kim and Dr. Koelker really care about their patients. Dr. Bishop knows dentistry! I have been to many dentists in my life and Dr. Bishop AND HIS STAFF are by far the BEST I have ever had. All the receptionists are so friendly, helpful and caring. They always listen carefully to me and my mouth issues. The hygienists are so nice and gentle on my teeth. They do a fantastic job cleaning my teeth. If you want the very BEST in dentistry you owe it to yourself to give TheDentistofAllen a try. My oral care is in the best of hands here. 5 BIG STARS!
I've had Dr Kim as my dentist since 1996- the office staff are friendly and professional, it's run efficiently so there's no waiting, and it's a beautiful asthetic in the castle like office.
