What Should I Expect During Digital Dental X-rays?
Typically performed at the start of your appointment, digital dental x-rays take 5 – 10 minutes to complete. Most patients will undergo a full set of x-rays to see all areas of their mouth. They will then be uploaded and viewed by you and a member of our team during your exam so we can show you any abnormalities and discuss possible treatments. A series of x-rays are usually taken during your annual dental exam. A full-mouth set may be obtained during certain visits to get a comprehensive view of your teeth, gums, and jaw. Your x-rays will be stored with your oral health file at The Dentist of Allen so we can watch for changes over time and address any growing concerns.

The staff is always great, they communicate well, and the doctors have always taken great care of me. When I met my wife she switched over to The Dentist of Allen and she refuses to go anywhere else. Great place that has been serving the residents of Allen for a very long time.

Very welcoming environment. Emily is the best hygienist ever! She always provides a very thorough cleaning. She is so personable, kind, and knowledgeable. I appreciate the care and honesty from all staff I’ve interacted with. They are also flexible and have easily accommodated me when I’ve needed to reschedule or push an appointment back. Would definitely recommend this place to a friend!
Dr. Koelker & Patsy are the best!! I am confident & comfortable with Dr. Koelker & his team. The whole office works well together and as a patient you are informed of treatment options & treatment cost. Will continue to come here for dental care.
