Registered Dental Hygienist

For more than 25 years, Laura has built lasting relationships with patients by providing the gentle, thorough, and personalized care that has become a hallmark of The Dentist of Allen. Since joining our team in 1999, she has earned the trust of generations of families who appreciate her calming approach, attention to detail, and genuine commitment to helping every patient achieve lifelong oral health.

Laura began her dental career in 1988 after earning her National Board Certification in Dental Assisting from Grayson County College. After spending ten years assisting dentists with restorative and surgical procedures, she made the decision to advance her dental career and attended Tarrant County College, graduating in 1998 with an Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. Her extensive clinical background gives her a unique perspective, allowing her to educate patients with confidence while helping them understand their oral health and treatment options in a comfortable, pressure-free environment.

Patients often describe Laura as kind, gentle, thorough, and incredibly easy to talk to. She takes the time to answer questions, explain each step of treatment, and ensure every patient feels informed, comfortable, and cared for throughout their visit. Whether caring for someone who has been coming to our office for decades or welcoming a first-time patient, Laura's goal is always the same—to provide exceptional care with honesty, compassion, and respect.

Laura continually expands her clinical knowledge through continuing education and advanced training to ensure her patients receive exceptional, up-to-date care.

A proud Texas native, Laura was born in Irving and raised in Sherman, where she still resides today. Outside the office, she enjoys traveling, visiting casinos, and caring for her collection of plants.

Registered Dental Hygienist

For Cynthia, dental hygiene is about more than healthy teeth—it's about building trust, educating patients, and helping create smiles that last a lifetime. She is passionate about helping patients feel at ease and believes that informed patients are empowered patients. Whether she's providing preventive care or helping patients better understand their oral health, Cynthia strives to make every visit a positive, comfortable experience.

Cynthia's journey in dentistry began as a dental assistant, where she discovered her passion for patient care. She earned her Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from El Centro College in 2020 before continuing her education and earning a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from Texas Woman's University. Her commitment to lifelong learning allows her to bring the latest knowledge and techniques to every patient she serves.

In addition to caring for patients at The Dentist of Allen, Cynthia serves as an adjunct instructor in laser dentistry, sharing her knowledge and hands-on experience with fellow dental professionals. Her dedication to education reflects her passion for advancing the profession while providing the highest standard of care to her patients.

Outside the office, Cynthia enjoys spending quality time with her husband, family, and friends. She is also a proud fur mom to her beloved pets, who keep life fun and full of adventures.

Hygiene Coordinator

Kim has been a trusted part of the dental field for several years and brings a wealth of experience in patient care, hygiene scheduling, and insurance benefits. As Hygiene Coordinator, she plays an important role in making sure patients stay on track with their routine cleanings and preventive care, helping support long-term oral health and overall treatment success.

She works closely with our dental hygienists to ensure each visit is well-coordinated and smooth from start to finish. Patients often appreciate Kim’s friendly voice on the phone and her ability to clearly explain insurance benefits and help them understand the importance of maintaining regular hygiene appointments. Her goal is always to make scheduling easy, reduce confusion around benefits, and help patients feel cared for and supported every step of the way.

Outside of the office, Kim enjoys spending weekends with her three grandchildren and family, making the most of her time with them. She also loves to travel and often visits her home state of Florida. Go Jaguars!

Dental Assistant

Chris has been a valued member of The Dentist of Allen team since 2005, working closely alongside Dr. Kim for nearly two decades. Over the years, she has become an essential part of what many patients describe as a smooth, supportive, and comfortable treatment experience—helping guide patients through everything from a single crown to more complex cosmetic care.

She takes pride in helping patients feel at ease in the dental chair and ensuring they understand each step of their treatment. With a strong focus on cosmetic dentistry, Chris is especially passionate about helping patients achieve smiles they feel confident sharing. Her clinical knowledge, attention to detail, and calm presence make her a trusted part of Dr. Kim’s care team.

Born and raised in Allen, Chris has deep roots in the community she continues to serve every day. Family is central to her life, and she enjoys spending time with her husband Tony and their daughter. Outside of the office, she values making memories with her family, traveling whenever possible, and staying connected to the Allen community she has always called home.

Dental Treatment Coordinator

Clariza is passionate about helping patients feel comfortable, informed, and confident throughout their dental journey. As a Dental Treatment Coordinator, she plays a key role in guiding patients through their treatment plans, helping them understand their options, and clearly reviewing costs and insurance details so there are no surprises along the way. Patients often appreciate her ability to break things down in a simple, honest, and reassuring way, making even complex treatment plans feel manageable and easy to understand.

She enjoys building lasting relationships with patients and working closely with the clinical team to help ensure each visit runs smoothly from start to finish. Her warm personality, clear communication, and caring approach help create a welcoming experience where patients feel heard, respected, and cared for.

Clariza is often known as the “Chief Executive Mom” of the office, always looking out for the team and bringing a thoughtful, caring presence to the workplace through food, celebrations, support, and everyday kindness. Most of all, she loves vacationing with her husband and their six children, making lasting memories and enjoying meaningful time together.

Insurance Coordinator

Amie is a dedicated member of The Dentist of Allen team, bringing decades of experience in dentistry and a hands-on approach to supporting both patients and the practice. She works closely behind the scenes to help ensure patient accounts, insurance claims, and day-to-day business operations are handled with accuracy, care, and attention to detail.

With a strong background in dental business administration, Amie plays an important role in coordinating the financial side of patient care. She is committed to helping patients navigate insurance and account questions in a clear, supportive, and stress-free way, making sure every detail is managed so patients can focus on their treatment and oral health.

Amie has spent many years in the dental field caring for patient accounts and understands how important trust, clear communication, and follow-through are when helping patients navigate their financial and insurance needs. Her goal is always to ensure everything is handled smoothly, accurately, and with the same level of care patients receive clinically.

Outside of the office, Amie enjoys traveling with her husband and grown children and spending time outdoors hiking with her two golden retrievers.

Registered Dental Assistant

Bethany is a Registered Dental Assistant who is passionate about creating a positive experience for every patient she meets. Born and raised in Dallas and now residing in McKinney, she has spent the past five years building a strong clinical foundation while assisting in general dentistry, oral surgery, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, and prosthodontics. Her diverse experience allows her to confidently support a wide variety of treatments while helping patients feel comfortable and cared for throughout their visit.

What Bethany enjoys most about dentistry is building meaningful relationships with patients and witnessing the incredible transformations that come with restoring healthy, confident smiles. She loves being part of each patient's journey—from their first visit to the excitement of seeing their completed smile—and believes every patient deserves compassionate, personalized care.

Driven by a passion for lifelong learning, Bethany is currently attending college as she works toward her goal of becoming a dentist. She is excited to continue growing in the profession while expanding her knowledge and skills to better serve her patients in the years ahead.

Outside of the office, Bethany enjoys spending time with her church family, staying active through running, and participating in local 5K races. She also loves relaxing at home with her two beloved fur babies.

Registered Dental Hygienist

Cornelia is a Registered Dental Hygienist who brings both life experience and a passion for patient care to The Dentist of Allen. She moved to the United States from Romania in the 1990s and has proudly called Allen home for more than 25 years, where she and her husband raised their three daughters, who are now all away at college.

After earning her dental hygiene degree in 2014, Cornelia has been committed to helping patients achieve and maintain excellent oral health through preventive care and education. She believes the best dental experiences are built on trust, kindness, and taking the time to help patients understand how to care for their smiles. Her genuine passion for dentistry and patient care has allowed her to build lasting relationships with the individuals and families she serves.

Outside of the office, Cornelia enjoys wedding planning, flower arranging, and crafting. She also loves traveling with her husband and spending time with their senior Labrador, Max.
